This year’s close of summer holiday will likely feel different compared to years past. Even so, it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the long weekend with a delicious mocktail made by some of the season’s best ingredients. Check out my two Labor Day mocktails that will add a little sparkle to any quiet weekend!
Peach Cucumber Margarita
Ingredients:
- 1 peach, peeled and sliced
- 6 cucumber slices, skin removed
- 10 basil leaves
- 3 oz. lemon juice
- 4 oz. honey syrup
- 4 oz water
- ½ C ice
- Splash of club soda
Directions:
- In a drink shaker, add peach and cucumber slices, basil and lemon juice. Muddle until well broken down.
- Add honey syrup, water and ice. Shake well.
- Pour through fine mesh strainer into margarita glass.
- Optional: top with a splash of club soda.
- Garnish with a cucumber slice.
Lemon Blueberry Martini
Ingredients:
- ¾ C blueberries
- 4 cucumber slices, skin removed
- 3 oz. lemon juice
- 4 oz. honey syrup
- 4 oz. water
- ½ C ice
Directions:
- In a drink shaker, add blueberries, cucumber slices and lemon juice. Muddle until well broken down.
- Add honey syrup, water and ice. Shake well.
- Pour through a fine mesh strainer into martini glass.
- Garnish with 2-3 blueberries in bottom of glass.
