A Message from the CEO
Expanding to New Heights

“We have the luxury of looking after ourselves. We have the honor of looking after each other.”
Simon Sinek
In 2024, we had the honor of reaching and positively impacting the lives of over 6,500 individuals nationwide, thanks to the support of our generous community. It is a testament to the strength of unity that we proudly collaborated with over 80 partners from across the nation. Together, we harnessed the power of collective action to effect positive change in the lives of those we serve.
Our commitment to health equity remained steadfast, and we are proud to report that focused grants were instrumental in providing essential support to the most vulnerable members of our community.
We are truly stronger together. The unwavering support, trust, and dedication of our community have been the driving force behind our accomplishments. We are deeply grateful for the faith you have placed in us over the years, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.
With gratitude,
Sue Weldon

Expanding to New Heights

This year our outreach services and impact continued to expand, adding new hospital and healthcare recruiting partners in locations nationwide.
This year we also launched a new stratetic partnership with TOUCH: The Black Breast Cancer Alliance to provide integrative therapies, services, and support to Black breast cancer patients enrolled in clinical trials.

Wellness Program Expansion: Empowered Living Program Launch
The Empowered Living survivorship program was developed in 2023 to ensure that all individuals had access to educational resources, services, and a supportive community, regardless of diagnosis date or stage. This year the program expanded to support 1,016 patients across the nation.

“Unite for HER are wonderful and compassionate, and have helped so many times. Thank goodness for understanding and caring about individuals.” Kim
“Unite for Her has been amazing. It paid for me to have 10 sessions with an amazing therapist who specializes in helping cancer patients. As a 41 year old, wife, and mom of three daughters this was very helpful. Not having to stress about footing that bill while paying for all of the medical expenses was a huge blessing. They care about you as a whole person and want us to each reach complete healing and health. I can’t say enough good things about Unite for HER!” Abigail
“Estoy agradecida por apoyo que ha dado United for HER me han contestado mis preguntas y dudas y me han guía cómo usar el pasaporte que ha beneficiado con el sunbasket, acupuntura y más, verdaderamente lo recomiendo.” Fatima
“I’m a brand new member to UniteForHer, and I just want you to know: I joined Stronger Thru Cancer with Priscilla, and now I’m feeling so optimistic about my ability to bounce back. I’ve got a long, long way to go, but it’s going to happen– I’m sure of it! Priscilla is an absolute GEM – she’s positive, bouncy, fun and nothing but love, talent and encouragement.” Ruth
“I had the distinct pleasure of being introduced to Unite for Her through my PCP at the U of P Hospital and it has been a blessing in my breast cancer journey. I have had the awesome opportunity to participate in the eco-therapy class, a therapy class, so different and unique than anything that I’ve ever experienced. I availed myself of the many online cooking classes, and have learned lots of good cooking tips and recipes. The grocery gifts cards have been a blessing and the tips on how to chose healthier food items has been more than helpful. But most importantly, the UFH staff has been more than gracious and kind – making themselves available to assist with questions, to lend a helping hand or an encouraging word. And for that, I am grateful for the services provided by Unite for HER.” Pat
Unlocking New Insights

In December 2023 we were honored to again present a poster at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium in partnership with Cancer Support Community. This poster highlighted the impact of nutrition services on breast cancer patients and their continued need for support. This poster was also presented at the Oncology Nutrition 2024 Symposium.
