
Tahini Coffee Smoothie
Equipment
- Measuring Cups and Spoons
- Blender
- Grater/microplane for shaving chocolate
Ingredients
- 2 Ripe bananas fresh or frozen
- 1.5 C Non-dairy milk
- 2 Shots Espresso or 1 cup strongly brewed coffee
- 2 Tbsp Tahini (sesame paste)
- 2 Medjool dates large – if using smaller dates, use 4. Remove pits
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 C Ice
- 1 Pinch Salt
- Toppings Cinnamon, shaved dark chocolate
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
- Divide among 2 cups and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and shaved dark chocolate.
